Hello, legitmately asking for a friend...does anyone know of a way to recover a bip38 address created on bitaddress? they claim to have both keys just dont know the passphase.

It's possible to bruteforce it. Do you know the xpub? or any address. Does it have a decent amount? if it's 1k sats it's not worth it to try. Do you have an idea of the passphrase length? and charset?

don't know the xpub because its a legacy address thats starts with a 1, its a decent amount relatively speaking. she has no idea what the pass phrase is. said it could 24-32 char multiple upper, lower symbols, etc. Feel really bad for her she wasn't considering a donation to community.
