Happiness Journal 15/6/25
I concentrate my firepower and fire cannon balls at my son’s Chinese language acquisition. In fact, if it weren’t for the fact that I am eager to declutter my hordes of teaching materials, I wouldn’t have thought to test him on his English.
Thank goodness for PCF Sparkletots. While I tested him on random soft c words, he stunned me by pronouncing words such as ‘fence’ and ‘voice’. Then, he put me in a bodacious mood by being able to read the majority of sight words from the Pre-Primer and Primer Dolch Word Lists. What a blessing!
If he were struggling, his struggle would behoove me to teach him. But in the hurly-burly of contemporary life, just how would I find the time to teach him English on top of Chinese? Immensely grateful to Sparkletots for doing its job and exceeding my expectations.
