It's Word-of-Mouth Wednesday! Put on your viral video hat and take a shot at 25k sats!
Make a ~5 - 10 second AI video advertisement for Stacker News. It should be humorous and have a cowboy/western theme.
If you don't know where to start, check out Hailuoai, LumaLabs, Pika, Nim, or Higgsfield. A good open source video editor is Kdenlive.
If you need some inspiration, this thread on X gives you an idea of what some people are making (although it's more action packed then I'm hoping for) or you can just check out the stuff @melvincarvalho has been posting on X lately.
Post a link to your video or the video itself below.
Bounty: 25k because you might have to spend a little to get good results.
Deadline: Bounty awarded to best video as judged by me on Tuesday, June 24 at high noon Texas time.
25,000 sats bounty

I have never heard of all the generative video sites that you suggested!
I am only familiar with Invideo AI, so I used that instead
Here’s the caption it gave based on my prompt: Watch as skilled cowboys ride in different directions, creating an intricate web with threads tied to their galloping horses! In this captivating visual spectacle, the horses dash across the landscape, weaving a stunning cobweb that ultimately spells out "Stacker News." Experience the perfect blend of speed, skill, and creativity in this unique interpretation of news sharing. Join us on this exhilarating ride that showcases the artistry and teamwork of these talented riders. Don’t forget to like and share this video if you enjoyed the show!

Pretty awesome! You really should check out some of the ones I've mentioned. It's pretty amazing what they can do.

If you don't know OR don't use Stacker News, then you don't what (the most important and interesting global community) you're missing.
I'll try it out, not necessarily for the bounty, but realizing how much people would benefit from using SN.

I'm pretty excited to hear about stackers' experiences with video generation. The things I've made so far have been pretty fun.

Word-of-mouth is not the same as Viral.
Word-of-mouth is intentional -- I like a thing, therefore, I tell people about it. Because I want people to enjoy it too.
Viral is not intentional -- I didn't mean to spread the thing, but it spread anyways. Like the "sent from my iPhone" message at the bottom of emails. Or email forwarding chains like, "send this to 10 people or you'll have bad luck!" Or rage-bait that makes people share even tho they hate it.

Good distinction. Mostly I'm just hoping to get a really fun video that I can share with people to let them know how awesome using SN is.
Viral was perhaps a poor word choice, but it does bring to more and the kind of videos I'm looking for, I think.
