The Colorado Rockies are downright hot!
Ever since the day @Undisciplined besmirched their good name they have turned the corner and won 7 out of the last 14 games. Wow .500 baseball. That stretch wouldn't be very remarkable for most teams, even the bad ones, but for the Rockies it is downright scorching.
The Rockies are now on pace for a 35-127 record. While that would still set the modern day record for losses in a season it won't come close to challenging the Cleveland Spiders all time record of 134 losses.
Who knows, if the surging Rockies keep this up they may even be able to avoid the modern day loss record of 121 set by the Chicago White Sox last season. The White Sox are on pace for 111 losses themselves this season, so if they can pick up their losing pace a bit they might be able to over take the Rockies for worst team in the league by the end of the season.
Sats for all,
