Well, we know there are people like Mark Levin that have been asking him to attack Iran for some time. The Neocons never went away. Still at work and seem to be stuck to the sides of the swamp.

Its a really brilliant move by See Eye Aye to induce him to get involved in this. They (in concert with Dems) are going to "Flood the zone".
They have Russia already engaged, now Iran, all they need to do is get their contacts in China to makes some moves towards Taiwan and they will complete the cycle.
Between this and paying for local ICE protesters every few weekends to burn some cars, they will have him 100% occupied, running around trying to deal with it all.
A wack-a-mole presidency where he can only respond to the fires they start.
Trump, for all his strengths, has a number of easily exploitable weaknesses.
