Quietly disappear is a good option if you have no friends though.

I think I’m the sort who tries not to get too close to my colleagues so that I can just finish my allocated work n F off. But somehow, some colleagues like to talk to me haha

I'm the opposite. I have gained many friends from jobs and gigs that I am still in contact with, but I think you have to if you're roaming and don't really have a permanent base... keeps one sane.

Yes I do! I also have friends that I know from different places that work with each other because I set them up.
