The footage, reportedly filmed on June 5th by a witness in Beijing, shows the metallic orb exhibiting unusual flight patterns that defy conventional explanations, reports coasttocoastam.com.
According to the observer, they were walking along the shores of the Shayukou Reservoir when they spotted a “shiny, metallic spherical object moving steadily eastward above the water.”
Initially dismissing it as a stray balloon after it disappeared behind a hill, the witness was startled when the object reappeared from the south, moving in a manner that ruled out ordinary aircraft or weather balloons.
What makes this sighting particularly intriguing is the object’s behavior: it flew at varying altitudes, occasionally pausing to hover midair before resuming its motion. After observing it for several minutes, the witness became convinced it was “definitely not a balloon or a drone” and began recording.
Strangely, the sphere seemed to react to being filmed—over the next minutes, it repeatedly darted behind trees, only to reappear in different parts of the sky before vanishing entirely.
This sighting adds to a growing number of similar reports worldwide involving silver spheres, often referred to as Buga spheres—a term coined from recurring descriptions of smooth, metallic orbs exhibiting intelligent flight. It was initially spotted flying over Buga, Colombia
Over the past few months, witnesses in the U.S., Brazil, Spain, Poland, and Japan have reported nearly identical objects, with some even claiming the spheres demonstrate abrupt accelerations and disappearances.
