I replied to one of your comments. I don’t get why the Blazers did this. Jrue should be one of those final pieces on a contending team at his age. I don’t see how he fits the Blazers timeline.
Yea, I saw the reply. Zapped it, but will keep the Jrue Holiday conversations here. Your view is pretty much how I feel about this trade. It didn't make too much sense for me. Maybe the Blazers want a veteran presence? And Simons plus 2 second rounders isn't too much for a vet with 2 chips? That's how I tried to make sense of this trade.
I guess that makes sense. Maybe the Blazers flip him again at the trade deadline.
