Personally, I don't use a Ledger, but I thought it was pretty cool to have a backup with this setup instead of in the cloud, which I think they have.

So, it's a backup of your key that can only be used with a Ledger.

It's an interesting trade-off, but I still prefer backups that are wallet agnostic.
