When it comes to wallet choices, there's no one-size-fits-all. But consider the fact that "altcoins", is just a fancy name for digital fiat, and there's no way to put them in the same basket with Bitcoin.
We know there's self-custodial wallets and custodial wallets. Obviously, self-custodial wallet is better than a custodial wallets, particularly when the self-custodial wallet it's Bitcoin-only and non-kyc.
But would you rather regard a so-called self-custodial wallet for shitcoins to be better than a Bitcoin-only custodial wallets?
Reading a Sorted Wallet article, I stumbled on this:
Users retain full control of their private keys, ensuring true financial sovereignty and empowerment, unlike custodial alternatives.
Here's the catch:
Currently supports bitcoin and USD₮ (Tether), broadening use cases.
Bitcoin-only 88.9%
Altcoins 11.1%

custodial = account. It's not a wallet at all in my mind. (I suppose you can argue it's a wallet because the custodian can send transactions on your behalf, but I still don't think we should call custodial accounts wallets).
if Sorted Wallet uses Breeze SDK, that means users have keys to their bitcoin. the altcoin parts of the wallet expand the attack surface, but if I have to choose between the two, I'd prefer to have my keys, even in a wallet with extra shit.
As an interesting note, the Sorted wallet website hasn't updated their FAQs yet to reflect the integration of the Breeze SDK: > Sorted Wallet currently supports 3 blockchain networks; Ethereum Main Network, Polygon Mainnet and Tron Mainnet. source
