We could probably raise capital just under the pretense of buying a minor league team if we said it would be a bitcoin treasury company with how much money is getting thrown at these businesses.
While the idea of buying a sports team and turning into a BTC is pretty funny...honestly it will be way easier if we just find an already listed public company penny stock and agree to buy all outstanding shares. Then we replace board and execute StackerNews bitcoin treasury company....
Its a completely doable venture.....

Done correctly, there is no reason we couldn't do both. Buy a public company, make it a BTC, and have that entity buy minor league teams (which are denominated in bitcoin).
Count me in as an investor.
