It's encouraging to see these challenges to dollar hegemony. Even if, as I expect, all these attempts at new currencies fail, the threat of competition puts healthy constraints on US monetary policy. Also, turmoil in the fiat markets should have a ratchet effect on Bitcoin adoption.
