I was traveling through south Lake Tahoe last year and hit a node that was broadcasting nodes through a local mqtt node in north Lake Tahoe. There were all these nodes from Europe that were reachable and I have wanted to spend some time building a local node like that but have not had time. It really feels like mesh with an mqtt tunnel is like a super power... If i make progress on one i will make a tutorial

Looking into it now. I just need someone in my local community to become interested in it. Just need someone to connect to otherwise its a kinda pointless hobby project.
