Why does this get asked every single week?
It's probably top of mind for many people who end up here but haven't spent much time exploring the existing content and community.
I need to implement the "this has been asked/discussed before" feature.

Trying to understand why people act in a certain way and find an explanation that assumes an optimistic standpoint. It's very easy to dismiss someone who is new, and asking maybe 'stupid' questions that have been answered many times before, but to be empathetic and understanding is not that easy, but very noble imo!

The builders mindset, listen to the people, instead of complaining, acknowledge the problem, and propose a solution, AND then actually implement it.
For a community building project/site like stacker.news it's really cool that someone is in charge with these traits, i think that's a reason it could succeed.
