I been trying my marketing strategy fell flat this year. I was doing purchases on no bullshit bitcoin GM updates but they stopped. I do want to buy some local ads and use a growth firm to promote SN and my territories but haven’t had the spare sats due to life (i.e. new roof, IRS)
Once I get back on my feet I plan on buying the local ads and hiring a growth firm.

Well, everything goes in cycles, right? Is really wise decision to not rush things sometimes and simply go with the flows of intuition. If is not the right time, simply wait for the right time to come.
Local ads to promote SN sound's a great idea, especially to make use of your territories in your surrounding community. It already provides so much value remotely, imagine how much it could provide when stackers know each other IRL, enforcing the trust network and building real quality conversations around the topics of interest!
You should pursue the initiative... when the right time comes :)

I am not great at marketing. Sales I can do in my sleep. Marketing not so much. I deal with this by (a) having other people to handle marketing and (b) doing marketing experiments. I have wasted a lot of money on ineffective marketing at times, so the experimental approach lets me gather evidence before committing. Good luck!

Is important to delegate, each one of us is good at something and the power of collaborating with others is what makes our ideas stronger and durable for long time. Is never a waste of money, I guess you learned something out oof the experience of overpaying in marketing (agencies?). That's another reason to be surrounded by people with different expertise that can guide us along the journey.

This week we organized two ways to increase AGORA marketplace visibility. These two platforms have the audience we are looking to bring here to SN, and it was the only reason we decided to have a presence within.
It is still early, it will take time. I'm sure with patience and perseverance, the results will arrive.

I finally signed a contract with my new client. You would think this would be time to celebrate, but the contract is just the MSA. Now we need to sign an SOW. Work was supposed to begin at the start of July. I'm glad I didn't staff up yet!

Fingers crossed! We're so late on this project... going to be a rush when it comes through. It's weird. The contract is like 18 months long but most of the work and the money are in the first quarter.
Today I redid our website so it looks less amateurish. I was getting compliments on our logo but not the site, so I kept the logo and redesigned around it.
