SN has become the best monitor of my lighning node. If zaps fail I usually have something I need to address. How about you?

So true for me as well. Every month like clockwork my start 9 node goes down and SN is always my canary

By "goes down" what do you mean?
Example:
- Server is frozen and needs a reboot
- Server is off
- Node is not sync

My guess, guessing is fun is some specific lighnting service is failing and needs a restart.

Similarly, I use my home alarm system as a canary in the coal mine for my home internet connection, as it switches to cellular backup when the primary internet connection goes down, and I get a push notification when this occurs.

Timely. I've been tinkering with my node for the last few days after it went down.

Heh, same here, but that's because SN is the only app that I use which requires my lightning node to be listening. Everything else I use it for is initiated by me.

That means your node is used 90% or more only for SN... useless.

Depends on how you measure it but on value that's way off. Inverse. Maybe don't talk about stuff you don't know.

I know very well what ma I talking about.
SN is using lnproxy type of invoices. That is something that normal / usual payments are not using it and would not "fail" as much as a lnproxy / hold invoice.
I will repeat this over and over until more people will get it: using CCs instead of "proxies zaps" is waaaay better and also you will stack more sats, because you are NOT spending sats to post on SN... you "buy" CCs only when you need to post on SN.
In few years people will remember my words... words that today only few understand them.

You assume too much. I know how SN works :) Others may not. I didn't say why anything was failing. Again, you are assuming too much.
