This happens all the time in Cricket and that's why it's called the most unpredictable game. With Pooran and Polard both staying in the middle, I won't bet against them until it's more than 15 runs an over. They are both so explosive. Also, at the point you sold MI shares was in no way reasonable, considering when a team has got 7 wickets in hand they have more chances to chase 60 odd runs in 30 balls. What it takes is just a 2 sixes or a few fours.

I was basing it on the win probability which was at 80% for Texas but dropped quickly with that huge over. It was wild. Fun.

80%! I guess whoever provided that don't know Cricket. Yes they were a but slow in the chase but they were not too far behind. Ultimately what they required was a big over. The target of 167 wasn't so big that the chasing team doesn't get close to it having 7 wickets in hand.

I think you've learnt a big lesson about Cricket today. Always pay attention to the equation in relation to wickets remaining and the batsmen experience and skill who are in the middle.
