pull down to refresh

We often have other martial artists joining us. It's fun to play and learn from other martial arts, what works and what doesn't, and vice versa. I've touched hands with wushu, mma, boxers, and wing Chung practitioners. I would surely not have a chance against most of them in a fight, but in general, they struggle to adapt to the soft, and almost invisible force of taichi — relax, stick, follow. They just can't relax, and when they try, they collapse like a soft noodle 😅 When you lay your hands on them you can easily feel where the tensions are, where their structure is compromised, and capitalise on it even before they realise it. Again, they are good in their respective material art, but we just train differently.
