42 sats \ 1 reply \ @cryotosensei 9h \ on: What makes a Stacker? AskSN
I patronise r/askSingapore on Reddit quite compulsively. It has some similarities with SN in the sense that given the right question/prompt, my fellow countrymen type long detailed useful replies that reveal their personal experiences and suggestions. However, one thing that SN boasts that helps it stand out from this subreddit is the interactivity element. On r/askSingapore, sometimes the OP will respond to the comments s/he receives. But here, I can expect other Stackers to ‘hijack’ other people’s responses and put in their two sats’ worth. It enriches the discussion - and I think this genuine interest in what others have to say is something that isn’t found elsewhere
I remember bringing this up a while ago as something I noticed starting to happen.
From the time I found SN, there was a lot of back and forth with the OP's, but then stackers started joining active discussions more and starting their own new threads less.
