I'm not a dev and I've never really been interested in IT, that is until I got into Bitcoin and Nostr and obviously SN
Just recently I've become really interested in the whole computer 🖥 science thing
I think, seeing some of the nuts and bolts of how stuff works, like adding your own sending and receiving wallet on here, could lead you eventually to running your own node
And a lot of the web infrastructure is open source, so anybody can learn some basic coding skills and start to look at this stuff
Just tonight after having my Son help me tweak the finishing touches to my very basic project, we began discussing the practicalities of running a Web server, like at what point does a company like Meta for example say; dude, we can't rely on Godaddy anymore, we need to build our own data centre!
Vibe coding has been a real buzzword around Nostr for the last three months and there are many differing opinions on how it will affect the job market, developers roles and whether it's a good or bad future for everyone involved
So Shakespeare by Soapbox have released an AI app built on Nostr, allowing anyone to create apps using prompts, all payable with Bitcoin
So my 1st idea is an alarm clock which displays the Bitcoin price when the alarm sounds, only problem is, I haven't worked out how to get a suitable Mp3 file with sounds yet, but that will come
Here's the link, I hope it isn't broken!
SN renders it as an npub so we can try this;
