I've been using Nostr recently (mostly via Damus and Amethyst) and I have mixed feelings.
On one hand, it's amazing — no ads, no bans, full ownership of your identity and posts. You can even earn sats directly through zaps, which no other social platform lets you do.
But at the same time, it still feels like a work in progress. Feeds are messy, content discovery is hard, and outside the Bitcoin crowd, it hasn’t caught fire yet.
My question is: Is Nostr just a decentralized Twitter, or could it evolve into something much bigger — maybe even a whole new internet protocol?
Curious what other stackers think. Is this a passing trend or a foundation for the next digital era?

I definitely think much bigger. It can connect to many things. When I comment on the fountain podcast app, it posts to my nostr. It definitely be much bigger than Twitter, just needs time.
