nothing too serious in the works today.
i plan on being idle for a bit, spending some time with a dead friend thinking about a potential review for ~BooksAndArticles, and refining some writing id been working on this past week.
also im making a sourdough starter. it is day 3 and it is starting to show some bubbles.
tomorrow is monday so I'll be back into my morning writing routine.

and you?
what creative projects will you be working on today?
what've you got planned for the week?

Excited for your review. It's a book that has stuck with me (even though it's been ten years since I last read it).

Cleared a space at pleb lab to do some book binding. I am putting together a collector's edition book of SNZ. It is motivated by my friend who lives far away but wants a copy of all my zines. So a month ago I began to put it together. I now have two text blocks bound and glued each consisting of 8 zines. I think they will make two separate books. I am unsure about how to proceed with the cover, do I create a printed cover over the book board? do I wrap it in paper or fabric? I am leaning toward making a cut out that reveals gold paper within.

Do they have enough pages do fore-edge art?
reply
fore-edge art sounds awesome. would love to see how those turn out.
if its what it sounds like, fabric binding might give your volume a vintage/anacronistic vibe. i dig.

I'm not sure what I'm doing yet. I want to write, but I might be too lazy to. I have a few things I want to write about:
  1. accepting bad fates
  2. processing death
  3. my limits of friendship and love
  4. a review of the 2019 Mercedes E300 rental car that I was upgraded to
  5. planning a long fast
