The photo doesn't show his face because one of the main things Bitcoin has taught me is to keep my profile low and the people around me secret.
I don't know if you've seen the movie "Fight Club."
But the first rule is:
You don't talk about Fight Club!
But he's someone I hold in high regard. I'm over 30 now, and for as long as I can remember, I've seen him reading, feeding his mind, and whenever I've had a question, he knows how to answer it. He's really quite cultured.
The book in his hands is the spectacular literary work "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by the spectacular Colombian writer and Nobel Prize winner Gabriel GarcÃa Márquez. I don't know if this is his second or third time reading it.
He told me he read it for the first time many, many years ago!
His kidney disease doesn't hinder him much (although I must confess that it has been difficult financially to cover his expenses since we're in Latin America).
He'll soon receive some medical results, and we'll know if we'll be able to operate on him!
I sincerely hope so!
Personally, I want to perpetuate the reading habit for my little ones (children).
Because with the digital world and AI that gives us all the information in seconds, it's hard to get them to pick up a valuable book!
Now, the question is: Will I be able to reach their age (almost 80) and have their retention and comprehension skills?
If you're a good reader or a book lover, do you think you'll enjoy reading forever?
Or will there come a time when you're done with it, and you'll let technology take over and stop listening to novels or audiobooks, or instead watch podcasts on YouTube, which are easier and more concise?
Thanks for reading📚
You have to continue reading and stacking Sats. greetings! 👋ðŸ¤
