Did you know that unlike students in other schools, students in Yishun Primary have a distinct way of learning about plants? Their school leaders and teachers have come up with an innovative way for them to farm vegetables. Through the technique of hydroponics, students excitedly transplant germinated seedlings onto the agricultural system. They can count on a reliable supply of water and sunlight, and they do not need to call off their farming activities due to other commitments. Enjoying this flexibility in learning, students need not fear that their school work will come between them and their vegetables. Maybe some of them will grow up to be famous farming practitioners in the future.

Do students get to eat the produce when it's grown?
reply
Yes!
The school liaises with vendors to buy 450 seedlings - enough for everyone (even teachers) haha
