We’ve been seeing some wild Bitkit profile names lately. For the next 48 hours, I’ll be sending some ₿ to the most original ones.
Don’t have Bitkit yet? Download the Bitcoin + Lightning mobile wallet here: https://get.bitkit.to/SN And don’t forget to enable “Allow payments from contacts” in your profile settings.

Can I use this wallet to move from LN to onchain?
reply
Sure. You can use both in the same wallet and move funds as you need. Onchain is "Savings" and Lightning is "Spending"

I guess I win?

anyway to download without using spyware?
reply
meaning? The app actually does not track users. You can look for it in the stores as "Bitkit Wallet".
Or you can even download it from Github (for Android)

You sending sats on chain?
reply
I have to say, nice design and UX for a self-custody wallet!
no browser wallet interface?
reply
You mean like a chrome extension? The wallet is only mobile for now.
reply
yes, or web page. Since Bitkit's a self-custody wallet, I'm guessing you can't just run a node in your browser, right?
reply
The LN node runs inside the mobile app. No web version at the moment. Each user has a node. We use LDK.

Nice, I will join. Is this custodial or non-custodial?
reply
It is self-custodial (non-custodial). Both for onchain and lightning. You run a LN node inside the app.
