Here's a few things I've learned from doing the Word of Mouth Wednesdays:
  • most of my bounties have promoted attempts at high impact (with relatively little success). I wonder if it wouldn't be more fruitful to focus on volume: smaller bounties that go to a larger number of stackers for posting (eg 100 sats to first ten stackers to post a sn link or meme on nostr...)
  • Contests are good advertising. We should all post about the many different bounties on SN more regularly. (Also, I always have to remind myself of this, but you can view all active bounties on SN at https://stacker.news/recent/bounties?active=true)
  • Repetition. I'm probably repeating myself, but I think we could all post SN stuff on external channels more frequently without being irritating.

I like this a lot. I'm not sure if you were getting at this, but I would raise you 100 sats for each share, if this is something you wanted to do to promote the writing contests.
