That's normal I think. If I were to prototype an app I'd just use no stylesheet at all or something standard like bootstrap. Then after that I'd make it pretty. Same with LLMs. You'll have to tell it to make it pretty.

Use the default look as a heuristic: okay this is probably vibe coded with zero effort. Which gives you an idea about quality.
