Just as we’ve been building, they’ve been building. Here’s the future of fiat money and payments networks
Is this a marketing exercise for the slow and flabby oligarchs and monopolists of the existing system. They make glacial progress, because for them, everything is fine and competition non-existent, or at least it was. Now a few parochial systems offer meagre improvements, in a few years, for the banked is supposed to be impressive?
They appear to be leveraging the competition by exaggerating the threat and introducing surveillance technology that would otherwise only be acceptable in authoritarian regimes to "protect the public."
What a joke we are.
