I was just fantasizing about a modern feudal setup.
Thinking of alternatives to owning serfs and providing food, medical care and housing for their labor.
Just pay them a small amount of fiat and let them take care of their own food, medical care and housing.
You could call it wage slavery.

Exactly. They replaced chains with paychecks and castles with office buildings.
There’s no need to control your body when they can control your incentives. Obedience is now cheap — and easy to buy.
That’s why Bitcoin makes people uncomfortable: It pulls you out of the role of servant… and forces you to think like an owner.
