Don’t turn on your phone for at least an hour after waking up.

Go for a walk without it. Give thanks for what you have - and for what you want to attract.

Dedicate that quiet time to your morning and yourself.

Strip away the superfluous, and focus your attention on what actually matters.

connect with yourself, connect witn nature and connect with other people

I've cut down my wifi for a day...not intentionally though.

This is the way

This is sort of why I got an analog camera. To slow down and really focus on my photography because when you have film every shot counts.

reply

Yep, I know it well. I just wish film wasn't so expensive.

Check in in a week to let us know how much you stuck to this

I've been doing this for a better part of 6 months consistently

LFG.

What has been the top benefit from this new habit that you've noticed?

reply

I’d say the biggest benefit is building resilience through doing hard things daily. Having the discipline to stick to a routine - especially something like cold showers - develops a mindset that makes it easier to tackle difficult tasks. There’s also a mental recalibration that happens; it sets your focus for the day ahead. And on a physical level, you’ll likely notice an increase in morning energy and alertness.
