We are counting down MLB's best ballparks throughout the 2025 season.
Here is last week's edition. #1047225
This week on to #11.
Target Field- Minnesota Twins
Opened: 2010
Capacity: 38,544
I think if I had a redo I might not have Target Field this high- I think I like Comerica better and could be a toss up with a couple others as well. I know @BlokchainB isn't a fan but Target Field is an OG park in terms of the community spaces trend where fans can gather, socialize and get great views of the game as well. Since this is the direction many new parks and renovated parks are moving we should pay some respect to the trailblazers. It's a smaller capacity park, so more intimate than others and great use of community spaces in CF and RF., however, I am more disappointed with the LF bleachers and placement of the scoreboard/logo than with some other parks in this range of the list. Really seems to break the flow of the skyline view and is the primary reason if I had a do over I would probably knock Target Field down a couple pegs. But overall a really nice park. You can't see it well in this photo but the rooftop deck in LF foul territory is a great space too. A+ for community spaces and being a trend setter but maybe a C for the skyline.
#10 up next.
Sats for all,
