I have avoided this for a while, since I'm a NYKNYC guy. I have begun to take a look at how these big institutions are custodying all this etf and treasury bitcoin. I'm just scratching the surface, but it's terrifying to realize how the legacy finance world thinks an omnibus honeypot is just fine.

Unfortunately, it’s been working for them, while for a good portion of “bitcoiners,” Saylor is seen as a promoter.
Just as an example, like you mentioned in your story about your old friend who told you he had bitcoins, but they were actually ETFs.

In the USA and Europe, regulation has always been different (also in the crypto space)...we have just introduced a new regulatory system (MICA), and its goal is, for example, the introduction of KYC everywhere...
Luckily, in the case of DEX, they can't do this (yet)...
