Going through my archives, I realized I hadn't shared these photos yet. A few months ago, I had the honor of being the photographer for this beautiful wedding, held in one of the prettiest churches in my city. I documented the entire event, from before it began until the very end, and today I want to share the best photos!
The first photos I took were while we waited for all the guests to arrive. I focused on the groom, as he was there greeting everyone.
I took a photo of him with his mother:
I asked them to let me see the rings to take a photo of it:
Minutes passed, and finally, it was time for the wedding to begin. The groom walked down the aisle, escorted by his mother:
And then he positioned himself to watch the entrance of his future wife, who walked in accompanied by her father:
They looked adorable together, and their faces clearly showed how happy they were to be getting married!
At this point, the ceremony had already begun. I took advantage of those quiet minutes to walk around the area and take photos of the couple from different angles:
I literally took over 800 photos that day, but in this post, I'm only showing you the best ones!
The minutes continued to pass, and finally, it was time to say their vows and exchange rings:
And now the bride:
The first kiss and hug as husband and wife:
I swear, after they got married, their faces changed. At this point, they no longer looked nervous, and their smiles were of pure happiness!
And a wider photo to show all the guests in the background:
The priest invited them to pray and ask for God's blessing for their new union:
And they got blessed:
They looked very happy, and every time they saw me pointing the camera at them, they couldn't help but smile for the photo!
And once the religious ceremony was done, the final part was to go up to the altar to sign the document that legally declared them husband and wife.
And once the entire ceremony concluded, I asked them for at least 10 minutes to take a couple of photos in the church before leaving. After that, the real celebration and congratulations would begin, and there would be very little space and time for photos. They agreed, and we took these photos:
And of course, I documented their triumphant exit:
All their family and friends were outside, waiting to congratulate the newlyweds and celebrate together!
They shared a kiss at the church exit, and I was perfectly positioned to capture this beautiful photo:
I asked them to repeat it for a closer photo, and the result was incredible!
At this point, everyone approached the newlyweds to congratulate them, and they asked me to take some photos with them. I'll share the most important ones: first, the bride with her mother:
The bride with the bridesmaids:
The church exterior was incredibly beautiful, and I was seeing photos everywhere. Since I didn't want to miss the chance to take those photos, I asked the bride if she could give me a few minutes to photograph her and bring my fresh ideas to life. The result was incredible!
The bride had a long veil, so I knew I had to highlight it in the photos!
The groom was always observing his wife with admiring eyes and also wanted to be included in the photos:
And since the veil was the protagonist in the previous photos, this idea came to mind and it turned out amazing:
I took a couple of photos of them before they got into the car, and that's where my wedding documentation ended!
The couple was more than happy with their photos, and I am definitely proud of the work I did for them. I hope you like the photos as much as we do!
