I've lately experienced my email code not logging into the account associated with the email, as though the email were reset or deleted and the account logged in for the first time with a brand new key. Is this a glitch, or something intentional? It's cost me quite a few sats...

Which account have you lost access to? Most likely you created that account with an authentication method that is not the email address that you're trying.
Yeah, I thought that might be the case at first, but then I tried several different things I thought it could be. It was the @jbschirtzinger account that I use for book reviews and book publications.
It originally used twitter as a login method, which I thought it still had which also did not work.
There's an email associated with that account. Which email address have you been trying?
royalrainbow. along with some protonmail ones and a gmail one.
It's difficult for me to help because we do not store emails in plaintext (we hash them).
That account was created on
2024-02-08and it does have an email associated with it. I just don't know which email it is.I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to look at it at all. I was pretty sure it was the theroyalrainbow one. Can you send an email to the account that is on it? I can narrow it down that way.
I don't know the email on the account so I can't send an email to it. We only store the hash of the email for privacy reasons. Hashes are one-way functions - given the email address, we can determine the account it belongs to, but given the account, we don't know which email belongs to it.
Does that make sense? If you want to send me a list of email address you'd like me to check, I can, but that's not much different from you trying to login with them.
