fixed fiat salary, can choose how much to pay out as bitcoin via bitwage, but bitwage sucks, doesn't even support xpubs
and I don't want a fixed bitcoin salary, it's too much of a headache for both sides for no clear benefit, except maybe virtue signalling

would also need to be bitcoin-only
but I think putting a KYC middlemen between you and your salary just to convert it into bitcoin is a terrible idea anyway

why are you using it then? Does bitwage mark your sats as kyced?
Have a friend that still getting is fiat salary and prefers to make the conversion himself p2p

Those are two sides of the same coin.
I don't know if I sound greedy or selfish, but I'd love to collect all or at least most of my sales in Sats, since I'm self-employed!
But on the other hand, if I had an employee, I wouldn't consider paying them in BTC!

Good on you and in developing your own entrepreneurial journey. How hard is for you then, finding people to work with and willing to pay in bitcoin?
Second, why you'd not pay your employers in bitcoin if is your unit of account? or isn't, and you're willing to change sats back to pay them in fiat?

The first thing we should keep in mind is that BTC adoption here in Latin America is very low... especially where I'm located (Peru)...
I also think that if I had an assistant, before paying them in Sats for their work, I should first teach them what this asset is and why it would be so beneficial for them as a worker to receive something so valuable today and something that will become much more valuable over time as a reward for their time.
I suppose the worker would be happier if I simply paid them in Fiat.
