Totally a winnable series against the Dodgers. We’re like .560 against teams over .500 and we have a gang of them coming up.
An aside: I have never liked position players coming in to pitch, but understand why competitive teams need to do it once or twice a year. There is no way a team as bad as the Rockies should be allowed to do this. A million games under .500, fielding an Intercounty Baseball League-caliber Team, and a dude comes in to throw BP is just embarrassing.
I’d love to hear the territory’s thoughts on position players pitching.
I think it is kind of silly but I understand why teams do it. To your point, not sure why the worst team in the league needs to do it. Send a guy out for another inning or use another arm. It's not like it matters if your bullpen is short the next game, you are going to lose anyways.
