It's true.

My sisters were going to buy my Dad a whole coin for about $100 in 2013. They didn't end up buying it but they talk about it sometimes. Anyway, my Dad would have sold it for $2-300 if they did.

The rare people that held would have needed to not sell the top in 2013 ~$1k, 2017 ~$20k or 2021 ~69k. They also would need to have not sold when it looked like it had crashed 80-90% multiple times.

Very few made it through. Some through understanding, others by luck.
