A few days ago, I was hired by a client's mother to take photos of her daughter on her graduation party day, and today I want to share the results of this photoshoot with you!
The first thing we did was start with the individual photos of the graduate, as she is the protagonist. We took the first photos at the entrance of the event, which had a beautiful decoration!
And for the next photo, she put on a graduation cap with her name to allude to her graduation:
Then we went inside because there was an area with decorations made specifically for photos, since there were other photographers hired to cover the event. But in my case, I was hired specifically for the photos of this client and her family.
Inside, we took these photos:
I walked around the venue looking for any other interesting spot for photos and found this area that had an arch with some very pretty lights in the background. We took this photo:
I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera and a 50mm f/2 lens. To light all the photos, I used a speedlite flash with a 50cm octabox diffuser.
At this point, we started taking photos with the family members. We began by taking a photo where everyone was together:
Then a photo with her sister and her mother, the two most important people to her:
And then some photos with her friends:
And then I took a couple of photos with her best friend:
After that, we went back out to the entrance, which had a beautiful decoration, and there I took a very nice photo of her with her mother:
Her sister was there watching us and also wanted a photo:
That day, I literally took hundreds of photos, but here I'm only showing you our favorites.
Hours passed, and it was time for the "hora loca" (crazy hour). The graduate put on a masquerade mask and looked very cool, so I took this photo:
In the end, she was super happy with her photos, and I was glad to have done a good job. I hope you like the photos as much as we did!
