Suppose someone who has been into bitcoin for a while but not a big name in bitcoin but has a big social following(1000+ viewers per livestream) is interested in nostr because you briefly told them about it such as the decentralized nature of it, multiple clients, keep your followers, zaps, etc. He wants you to lead a setup demo via their livestream to show him how to get set up on everything. How would you do it? We would need to get a private key Show some top clients get zaps set up (both send and receive) via lightning address / NIP-05
Curious how you all would tackle that to make it as un-scary as possible in as short a timeframe as possible, maybe 30-60 mins. Personally, I use my own node with albyhub and alby extension and all that, which is definitely too advanced for this talk. I am not sure of what a good normie-flow would be to get set up and going with as little friction as possible.
Thank you all!
this video is a great simple overview of nostr that walks through the onboarding and benefits - https://primal.net/e/nevent1qqsxlxqnqdvqudl4qsck69rxr43c0wjkmp5cveu54hwxxd4ggl3r5acwlkcjz

I think Zaps is the USP. No other social media platforms offer anything even close to it.

id just show them yakihonne. Built-in wallet and ln address creation, long form / short form notes, relay filtering to view notes in specific communities. Pretty slick UI. and It's both a web app accessible from desktop and a mobile app accessible from apple and android. it's kinda the best nostr has got right now as far as a social media experience, so if that doesn't work then they ain't gonna like the rest of it unless hey are looking for something hyper specific.
i wouldn't bother with nip-05 at first, just confusing. private key security would have to come after they even found it remotely interesting to use.

i just went through the flow on yakihonne. That was SMOOOOOOOOOTH. I love how the private key .txt is downloaded instead of displayed. Very cool. Thank you ver much.
