Its important to note that the largest homeless shelter in DC still has beds available. Most of the ones that I encounter going to and from work have unaddressed mental health issues. These invidivuals wont be arrested and fined rather they will be placed at a facility to get them the help they desperately need.

Since I've lived here this is the second time that this has occurred the first time had some wild moments when a backhoe picked up a tent with someone inside 😬
