What happened to the Bills last night? I know it's preseason and the starters weren't playing but that was a beating.
After I watched the third string TE drop a wide open pass for a first down I turned the game off and watched a show.
Back when the Bills were bad I used to get hyped when Nathan Peterman would look really good in the preseason then the regular season would start and the guy flat out couldn’t play QB. So now that the Bills are good I don’t have much interest in the preseason anymore.
Bills were just moving guys around. The main punt returner was covering the Bears #1 WR. And the Bills were just shuffling guys in. Bears were dialed in. Caleb looked good. They smoked our secondary on the opening drive. Ben Johnson was trying to prove something. Meanwhile to the Bills it was like gym class. On paper it looks bad but it’s the preseason.

Yeah I don’t think it’s a big deal but was kind of surprised they didn’t get anything going offensively against the Bears D. I know starters weren’t in there but thought they would get a couple scores.
I think the Bears are going to be better than people are expecting. That’s a tough division so not sure they will be a playoff team but OLine is better, running game should be better and Caleb likely shows improvement in year 2.
