This post is part of a series. It is meant to be a place for stackers to discuss creative projects they have been working on, or ideas they are aiming to build. Regardless of your project being personal, professional, physical, digital, or even simply an idea to brainstorm together.
If you have any creative projects or ideas that you have been working on or want to eventually work on... This is a place for discussing those, gather initial feedback and feel more energetic on bringing it to the next level.

Recovering / a bit ill after 2 weeks of conferences (Baltic Honeybadger & BTCHEL) + a bunch of networking, promoting the book (#1074789) and building the accompanying website. But moving ahead with all projects nevertheless 🤠
So I'll try to keep it concise, here's what's been happening since the last post:
  • Received a bunch of copies of my book "A Stoic Resurrection" (#1074789). Sold, bartered and gave away a few face-to-face to my friends here in Estonia as well as in Riga and Helsinki. A couple of orders have also been put through Amazon, which is kinda cool (although obviously I would prefer if people used my own site to order). A couple of people have also already expressed how pleased they were with the book which is THE best thing regarding this whole project that I could ask for
  • During the Baltic Honeybadger conference (in the early hours of Sunday the 17th, to be exact lol), I also finally got the fully re-designed Kontext Store of Value online - featuring the aforementioned book, first and foremost, but also some Love & Freedom inspired merch and goodies
  • Participated in the Founders Sauna event in BTCHEL where I introduced both the Satoshee website & business idea, as well as the book & Kontext Store of Value merch (and sold a couple of shirts as well). It didn't go as well as it could have (don't have any co-founders or investors on board, still), but nevertheless people seemed to be intrigued by the ideas I presented and were positively minded about such a service (talking mostly about the Satoshee business here)
  • Went for a lovely stroll around Helsinki with my camera on Thursday (will share some of the photos in ~Photography, sometime)
  • Introduced the idea to sell discount codes (what I dubbed "Reverse Affiliate Marketing") via the Satoshee website to a bunch of people and companies at the conference - and at least the immediate feedback was positive, they would be keen to test this idea out
  • Hopped on the nostr vlogging bandwagon (#1087786)
  • Finalized and published the Bitcoin Media Kit (#1087671)
WHAT'S NEXT:
  • Contacting companies to get a wider selection of discount codes live on Satoshee
  • Adding additional products & designs to Kontext Store of Value
  • Making a proper introduction to KSoV
  • Offering KSoV resale possibilities to other Bitcoin book and/or merch stores
  • Figuring out bulk pricing for the above; whether I should also add an affiliate program
  • Figuring out more ways to promote the book
  • Fixing the referral links issue with Satoshee
  • Cleaning my room
  • Hopefully, also more new writing, and perhaps music, making again 🤠

Wow, that's a lot of meat on the fire! Congrats on finalizing this tour de force you have organized. Looks it will give some results really soon.
Really compelling the idea to put together a Bitcoin Media Kit, where the idea or need came from? There's plenty of material out there, what make you select the sources you shared?
reply
Yeah, it's a journey! Not going to get my hopes up / expect much, but I feel like I've taken a fair few steps forward towards getting to a place where I want to be - which is, to be exact, being able to make a living off my own creativity/business/passions.
Regarding the Media Kit, there is a lot of material out there for sure, but I didn't find a place/resource where all of them have been congregated together... so I gathered up what I could, what I saw as potentially being useful for BTC-based companies, content creators, etc. and put that whole compilation together.

Ideas pending work: I want to teach children to use skate 🛹 without charging anything.
I see many children who lack resources. And it would be great to be able to create a space for this activity, where children and parents can go without problem, even if they have no money. (You just need to mount) We would provide protections and skateboards 🛹
For now it is just an idea 💡 and from time to time you pile some Sats that fate to that pot.
I still have a lot. But this will be a project that I will end up developing very soon when I return to the country where I was born.

Man, such great project. Skate is another synonym of freedom, I enjoined feeling the breeze when sliding and Holling over system rules.
Despite being a solo non-competitive sport, it's a great way to find and build community, have children interacting, playing and discovering the risks of life.
Keep us posted on this amazing project, wherever it will be.

I am currently tying to create mnemonic phrases / seed phrases for bitcoin addresses.
It will be encoded / decoded by LLM's. Hoping I can create poems 1-2x the size of a limerick to represent an address.
I'm a little stuck on the math needed to really good results, but I should have a very naive solution by tonight!
reply
Great idea? How far are you with the build? That's would be really useful tool. Any chance you will share it for testing? Open source?
reply
Alright @deSign_r, we've got some initial results!
This address: 12Wfw4L3oPJFk2q6osDoZLYAwdFkhvgt4E (which can be seen on mempool here) can be represented as:
The king, whose power and pride, were known through the realms of earth to shine, In harness proud as eagle with the morning wind entwin. Now with what grace he did command his people in this wise. Their daily toiling lives for them to thine
or
The king, a man of noble grace, did dwell in state within a towr that loomed above all other loft, where eagles, soaring free in azured heights would cast, in envied sight, a winking glace at him who ruled, and in his hand a golden rod of rule he held alight, with sceptered power to rule and right, and with
It doesn't have to be "The king..." that's just the first prompt I was trying.

That's an especially nice way to hide a seed. Can it be compared with the stenography approach shared here #71273 or is a totally different process and methodology?
Moreover, does it allow encoding just addresses or can encode anything? Can encode a privatekey or a seedphrase? What guarantee the process to not be reverted? I mean, how safe it is to use considering you sharing the source code?
reply
Thank you!. And yup any arbitrary data can be embedded. Seeds, addresses, love letters, the secret ingredient to coca cola.
The tricky part though is both parties (sender / reciever) will need to run the same quite complex code suite, same LLM weights, same LLM inference process, and same version of my "innocuous" algortihm on top. Otherwise they might misunderstand each other.
The benefit is it's decentralized, unlike something like cashApp where you can send me coins to my $username, but they could always de-bank me or alter the address unbeknownst to the sender and steal the coins.
I think my target for now is addresses and nostr pubKeys. But I want to get those tool into other peoples' hands to see what they can think up with this.
reply
Thanks, and absolutely will share; it's the kind of thing that needs to be opensource to get traction since any encoding scheme for communications (e.g. communicating your address) is only valuable if both sender and receiver understand how to parse the format.
I'm guessing the results will be pretty janky off the bat. To get good, I think I'll need a mathematician to push on the math beyond where I can, and an artist to push the style beyond my corny taste.
Might have a github link by tonight...

First time posting here...
Been wanting to dip my hands into "vibe coding" for a while now but have been a bit intimidated (10+ years out from having written any code in the past)...

Welcome to the creative show, and thanks for sharing your game. As our friend Matisse said, the best way is to simply start doing.
The game is really fun, one could easily spend hours trying to improve score!
In the StockDips, what's the KPI that should help "value investors" understand what's a good deep?

Haha not rocket science but if they buy closer to the latest support = green, if they buy closer to the latest resistance line = red. My problem (and I suspect many others) is I'm always FOMOing in near resistance only to see stock prices pull back.
When you are gambling on a diverse portfolio of shitcoin fiat stocks like me I think it'd nice to know where the value is to invest your dry powder.

Well, it's probably the core of the came, isn't it? But I guess there's many people that does not follow this logic.
Look forward to seeing next evolution of it. What are the plans? Which features are you planning to add? Which tools have you been using?

Converging nostr as transport and nostr as identity together in shockwallet, we've kept social out of the equation while the transport-level protocols were iterated upon, but now the next frontier is platformization, which relies heavily on identity.
This touches a lot of stuff of course:
  • Identity implies hooks into the broader network, necessitating things like an ingestor and indexers with a human readable name registry that scales
  • Bridging the gap for normies whom expect to simply use an email or share identity within organization context creeps the scope substantially, ex: Sanctum.
  • Conventional cloud services like CDN ex: Lightning.Video
  • An integrated platform opens the doors to more demanding users, users that require traditional UX and automation that glues non-traditional components together seamlessly
This all must be done in a way that respects the constraint of self-custody and decentralization that distinguish it from yesterdays platforms. It's constrained by unique network effects that must be leveraged to bootstrap the utility. It's constrained by legacy tech stacks that are a gatekeeper to distribution. It's constrained by the fact that many ideas must be conveyed as one idea.

I'm surprised by the ecosystem you have been building and how you wrap it all together. One service help the other. Where CLINK fit in this ecosystem?
reply
Good question, because of I think about it in the context of the diagram, it sits almost exactly in the bullseye
CLINK, by being a lightning tool, would seem to be closer to wallet and pub... but its design and greatest strengths are how it fits into applications built around nostr identity that would be comprised of the other components.
I think of it as the glue that enables the other parts to work together

That's good metaphor. In this case, is SMART another product? Any ref we can learn more about?
reply
For the moment it's mostly an idea, I've got a private repo I iterate on an implementation with background cycles and see what sticks. So far it's shaping up to be an ingestor and indexer with an api layer.
It's complicated by relay subscription and connection maximums, backfilling vs. live subscriptions deltas and more... so sharding has been a fun challenge.
This is outdated, but one of the first docs I wrote on it just to gather feedback: https://github.com/shocknet/smart

Which applications? and for what? I've checked the website but only found 3d models too download... it's the CyberBrick app?
