small private plane can be operated for about 600 sats/mile, or 350/mi if you are a airframe&poweplant mechanic as well as a pilot

not as luxurious as a train car but 5x faster and better security

interesting to see this is still a thing, and ya id be curious if anyone does this (perhaps there are a few old millionaires that do it in the NE).

This reminds me of reading 'The creature from Jekyll Island' when the author describes a train stopping, backing up and hooking up what I believe was JP Morgan's train car(s). Must have been the premiere way to travel in the Gilded Age.
