Thielen is a back up and why do you think CMC will get hurt? Did Saquon or Henry get hurt last year? Did CMC get hurt in 2023?

Barely back up plus he needs Young to progress. It was better to keep the Philly TE.

Saquon got hurt didn’t miss major time. I don’t think Henry did. CMC is getting older. He got hurt in Carolina as well.

Saquon and Henry also getting older yet stayed healthy. CMC did miss big chunks of time over two seasons in Carolina but then played two full seasons in a row. Out of 8 years he has played 5 full seasons and missed significant time in 3 so if he does get hurt it is likely for a long period but there is also a decent chance he plays a full season if you look at his career history and consider he has had a ton of time to rest the Achilles.

My biggest question is the fact that the rest of RB room is decimated with injuries so now they will probably overuse CMC like they did in 2023 whereas I thought they would lighten his load a little this year. I guess we will see but I am not presuming he will get hurt just because he is 29 and got hurt last year.

I don't really need the Philly TE because I have Ertz as a backup. Goedert was slightly better in points but there wasn't a big enough gap to need to keep him. I am sure Kittle will miss a couple games as he always does but Ertz will be a fine replacement. Maybe he gets me 6 points that week instead of Goedert's 8.

Yeah that’s a tough guy to lose but I don’t even know if Stafford is going to be or stay healthy. He has barely done anything all offseason and preseason due to a disc issue in his back.
