I have recently dived deeper on the Nostr protocol, and immediately became interested as many resources claimed it was able to support community projects. This is supported by the countless Twitter clones built on Nostr. But beyond that, there isn't much on Nostr to my knowledge thus far?
The development of a completely different type of apps on Nostr is not widely discussed, as many only use it as a decentralized Twitter, as that is what it has been known as and what it is most famous for.
As a developer, I see Nostr as an interesting g project, that just has to find a way to become popular with a wider audience.
Will Nostr ever surpass it's current state of being an X/Twitter platform?
Bitcoin Safe was using nostr to do multisig key signing and coordination and label synchronization.
I used to hear about similar ways of using nostr for little communication tasks. Maybe I haven't heard as much lately...

Yes. You can already use nwc? If you want more, you'll have to buildstr for it to become realstr.
I personally have ngit-cli on my to-do for testing, and I am (very slowly, ugh) working on CLINK integration.
