So, most such examples I come upon (from odd videos of YouTubers) are in like Kenya, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Peru, South Africa etc.
I understand the part of the appeal is to get the unbanked to use it, and it makes more immediate sense when the national Fiats are more unstable as opposed to USD, GBP etc.
But is there any Bitcoin circular economy in some country with a GDP ppp per capita above $50,000 (a somewhat arbitrary threshold, but meant to exclude poorer countries)? I feel having one will get the concept of Bitcoin more exposure to the mainstream world. And, I would also be curious to know how/whether the concept spreads from one community/county to the neighbouring one, which it should, if Bitcoin is really the superior money.
