At first I thought I would vote "No", but then I realized I did meet a Bitcoiner back in 2018.
I already bought some bitcoin before meeting him. Somehow, we arrived at this topic and he was very convinced by bitcoin. I think he got into Bitcoin very early on and thus was very knowledgeable about it. I remember him telling me "if the price drops, I am going to buy more" and me feeling very confused what to make out of him.
Then we lost contact (only knew him because we took the same course in university) and I forgot about bitcoin for the next 2 years. Never met someone like him afterwards.
There is a monthly meetup in my town. Maybe I'll go there some day.

Yup, I convinced a few people at work to buy BTC during the run up. We don't make contact anymore... 😂

This is more or less a normal day for many of us:

I was chatting with a web dev the other day IRL and he referred to something as "sovereign". I said, "you're a bitcoiner aren't you". haha. Totally was.

Not intentionally but I helped create a couple and have run into a few by happenstance. Thinking of creating a meetup in my community in the New Year.

Met so many Bitcoiners in real life. Best is making your good friends and family bitcoiners :D Other than that we have a meetup in Istanbul where I met a lot of bitcoiners. Also thanks to the meetup out of town bitcoiners can easily find us. Finally it is amazing to be at proper bitcoin only conferences.

Met one? I am one! ducks
Jokes aside, I've met tons of Bitcoiners -- most of them at Chillderburg. It's an annual get-together west of Austin, May 26-29, 2023 at Rebecca Creek Camp Grounds. 2023 will be the 5th year.
Each year, we've had plenty of Bitcoiners show up. There's live music, a comedy show, camping/RVs, swimming, podcasting, etc.

Sort of. I have some friends who kind of are, although I don't know that I would call any of them maxis, though I'm trying to convert them.
Otherwise, I've never managed to meet another Bitcoiner "in the wild" so to speak, especially since there aren't any meetups or confrences near me. Hopefully I can manage to meet another maxi one day though :)

I wonder how geographically spread out Bitcoiners really are? Other than a conference, I’ve never met another maxi IRL (other than my daughter) I went on OrangePillApp and there were 8 in Northern new jersey.
