What is an attack on bitcoin?

what is not an attack on bitcoin? honest miners, historical nodes, prudent and conservative deelopment?

Requires a soft fork.
Heres' some more info on Drivechains:

precisely - good luck soft forking core with such a contentious proposal. not on my watch
reply
I mean, I see drivechains as a way to introduce the most future flexibility into the protocol with minimal current impact. This could be the last contentious UASF if implemented, and the core layer protocol could ossify, allowing all future experimentation to happen in the higher layers.
reply
Well, and here we differ. I see drivechains as the most complicated soft fork proposal compared to Eltoo and SIGHASH_ANYPREVOUT or x-input sigaggreg whilst its impact is hard to measure. I dont need digital AirMiles and shitcoins impacting game theory of Bitcoin layer - its already challenging with LN and other proposals. We are just fine

one imagines you don't like BIP-300
reply
I am following it and supporting the research of it - currently I do not fancy running it bcs of the above trade offs

Yay! I want drivechains
