Cool stuff! I'm quite dry on the two first words of the riddle.

For the charcter of the Encounter, could be either Mark, Scott or Sam I guess.

For Veronica's gift, immediately made me think of Saint Veronica and the veil she gave to Jesus. So could be "HerVeil". But could be something completely different too!
