When I look at SN's front page, or the Recent perhaps, and I see each post, there is the button for upvoting (Lightning symbol). If I hover over the button, I see a green popover message "NN sats" that tells me how many sats clicking that upvote will cost me.
But when I see a post that I had posted, there is no button. That is expected, as a user can't upvote their own posts. But that real estate where that missing Lighting button would be is wasted, and I've got a suggestion.
What if there was an icon there that would let me see how much I earned from that post? Hovering over it would to a popover message "NN sats earned", telling me how many sats I earned from that post.
The identical feature could be done for my comments as well, hover over the icon to show to me how much I've earned.
Now what icon, or symbol, or character to use -- I'm not sure. I was originally thinking a sats symbol (e.g., the "satoshisymbol-solid" one from this list), but maybe the StackerNews icon would be better?
Anyway, just wanted to get this suggestion put out there, and if it is a wanted feature, I can create a github issue for it.

Other people have said the same thing - it feels weird there isn’t something there. I’m not sure what should go there

For posting a Simply Bitcoin show video link for a recent episode, posted as SN Item #11323, I'ld much more prefer to post the link for the episode hosted on their channel on BitcoinTV.com (see SN Item #3365). But SN doesn't have embed support for Peertube video links. So I posted a Youtube link for the episode instead. I would prefer to continue down the path of de-Googling. Is adding a peertube embed for posts in SN possible?

- WoT-recalc will get run daily now ... I hadn't set up the periodic job
- 'top' posts/comments will now use WoT to determine 'top'
